Welcome to the #GRWA Crew, Kaylah!

Hello! I’m Kaylah! I’m excited to be moving to Illinois from New Jersey and joining Gary R. Weber Associates as a Landscape Designer. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Architecture from Rutgers University, where I also spent about a year and a half supporting an undergraduate/graduate studio focused on green infrastructure in San Juan, Puerto Rico. It was a really fulfilling experience and taught me so much about thoughtful, sustainable design.

I’m excited for all that’s ahead at GRWA and can’t wait to meet everyone, learn from the team, and continue growing in the field of landscape architecture. I’m especially looking forward to experiencing the upcoming All Hallows Fest and being part of the GRWA team!

Outside of work, my go-to coffee order is an iced oat milk hazelnut latte. When I need to get my jam on, my theme song would probably be “Island in the Sun” by Weezer. It was featured in my childhood favorite movie, Aquamarine, and always puts me in a good mood!
