Educational Tour of Native Landscape

Recently, members of the Gary R. Weber Associates team joined Bedrock Earthscapes, the Naperville Park District, and The Conservation Foundation for an educational tour of native landscape projects throughout Naperville.

Beginning and ending at the Naperville Riverwalk, the tour featured a variety of public and private sites showcasing native plantings at different stages of growth. Participants discussed the design, installation, and long-term maintenance of native landscapes while exploring their many benefits, including enhanced beauty, improved stormwater management, reduced maintenance costs, and stronger ecological resilience.

The day concluded with lunch and networking at Riverwalk Park, providing an opportunity to connect with fellow professionals dedicated to sustainable landscape design.

A big thank you to Bedrock Earthscapes, the Naperville Park District, and The Conservation Foundation for hosting an informative and inspiring event. Experiences like these help keep our team at the forefront of innovative, environmentally responsible landscape architecture.
