Welcome to the #GRWA Crew, Mira!
Hello! I am Mira! I am a landscape designer with a Master of Landscape Architecture and Regional Planning, as well as a Certificate in Urban Resilience from the University of Pennsylvania. My academic background also includes a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations with a concentration in Global Health and the Environment from the University of Michigan.
My work is centered on the intersection of ecology, resilient landscape architecture, and thoughtful land planning. Prior to joining Gary R. Weber Associates, I worked as a Research Associate and Designer with the Ian L. McHarg Center for Urbanism and Ecology and as a Landscape Architecture Fellow/Intern at ONE Architecture & Urbanism.
I am excited to continue to grow my experience and expertise in land planning and landscape architecture at GRWA, specifically within the ecological services, adaptive planting strategies, material systems, and native species communities shaping the Chicagoland landscape.
Outside of work, my go-to coffee order is a regular extra-hot coffee, and if I had a theme song, it would be the Full House “Everywhere You Look” theme song.
