A Steam-Powered Visit to One of Our Past Projects

Sometimes inspiration is closer than you think. This week, a few members of our team took advantage of a unique opportunity to catch a glimpse of the historic steam locomotive, Big Boy No. 4014 as it passed through the western suburbs. After hearing it would be stopping in West Chicago and speeding through downtown Wheaton, we couldn't resist checking it out—and grabbing a few photos along the way.

A fun bit of history made the experience even more meaningful: the locomotive was stationed at the West Chicago Sesquicentennial Park originally designed by Gary and Rich years ago. Seeing a landmark train visit a space shaped by our own team was a great reminder of the lasting impact thoughtful design can have on a community.
